The Pofure Culture
As trans-universal and planetary beings, Pofures are able to assimilate into almost any culture; Thus, it is important to make the distinction between the "Native" pofure culture verses "Integrated" pofure culture; furthermore, the culture of Sen'Ri's artifical moon, Citral, is another important facet that integrates the two main veins of culture, making for a third hybrid that has been made the pofure's own over thousands of years.
The Native Culture
The Native culture refers to the culture of Pofures whom dwell upon their home planet, Sen'Ri. This culture is considered their root culture, and parts of it are carried on even with pofures who have integrated into other modes of thought.
Sen'Ri is, interestingly, one of the worst possible environments for their kind; solar and space radiation is almost entirely blocked by a thick blanket of cloud and atmosphere upon the surface, and planetary radiation that emanates from the core is less sustaining than its solar counterparts, making energy conservation a huge priority. This alone has made their native culture one where necessities of survival are at its core, with little to no advancement in areas such as aesthetics and language.
Technically, even their human forms can survive the absolute cold of vacuum space - nanites however tend to slow down in function once incredibly low temperatures are experienced, much like molecular movement. It is the fastest method of travel through space as well, but does little to help conserve warmth - Because of this, most pofures of Sen'Ri are primarily found in their Basal forms, where their thick plumage and larger body size aid in conservation of heat, therefore nanite functionality. This avian form also aids in swift transport through the massive caverns, and allow for both horizontal and vertical movement within such spaces; this tends to become important as many of the larger predatory species are primarily earth-bound.
Within their Basal forms, Pofure exhibit very much avian-like behavior, such as nest-building and flocking. Nests are often made from scavenged plant material or finely grated pumice from around the lava veins. They communicate with each other through a series of trills and clicks, which differs from the language used in their humanoid forms; unlike earth birds, pofures in their basal forms do now 'caw' or peep and sound rather alien in their vocals. Their feathers are used heavily in communicating through body language, and such physical displays tend to be pronounced to avoid potential miscommunication within the dim environment of the caves. Actions which require more dexterity call for a transformation into their humanoid forms, but such transformations are almost always done in groups of two or more pofures so that the task at hand can be completed as quickly as possible, therefore allowing transformation back into their Basal forms to maximize energy conservation.

Moon of Sen-Ri: Citral
Citral, the moon of Sen-Ri, is only slightly smaller than its massive counterpart; presumably created by the same previous inhabitants of Sen-Ri, Citral has a mechanical core where a captured star burns. Much more hospitable than its parent planet, its surface sports water, flora, fauna, and a great expanse of different climates that are protected by its artificial atmosphere. Its orbit around Sen-Ri is an extremely pronounced oval, making it either very close or very far from its parent planet depending on the season. Many Pofures have migrated to this planet, making it their home for many generations. The Pofure culture flourishes here, and the moon acts as a safe haven for Pofures that have returned from the far reaches of the galaxy. Because of this, alien cultures such as the wearing of clothes have entered into their lives, making for a unique lifestyle that the original pofure culture does not possess. There exist large cities and markets where traders of all species are welcome, lending further to the global environment of Citral culture.
As an artifical planet, the core requires maintenance and monitoring. Ancient robots assist in the daily duties of the core, their origins presumably older than that of the Pofures; Sentinel Pofure are some of the oldest Pofures who have been tasked with the study and upkeep of the core, although the machine's design is so well made that very little maintenance is typically needed. It is considered an honor to study under the Sentinels, and all inhabitants of Citral are mindful of their existence. Four pillars exist where the core can be accessed, the largest of them located in the Capitol, Benavede. All of the pillars are surrounded by large, flourishing cities and act as trading hubs for everyone.
Smaller settlements are found further away from the Pillars, most of which are there for agricultural or personal preference. Some isolated villages have also formed where fringe culture and the seeds of malice have planted themselves. While the strength and vast knowledge of Pofures has made for a relatively safe environment, it is far from complete peace; occasionally, insurgents and other radical groups form, often relating to the elitism associated with the Pillars and their scholars. Almost 6 millennia ago, there was one instance where the Core itself had been disturbed by scholars thirsty for knowledge; it resulted in excessive cosmic radiation and the decimation of most of the planet's life forms. Ever since then, the Pillars have become extremely well guarded and militaristic in their defense.
