PoFUURRR
Pofure fur length and location has very basic rarity tiers. The style of the fur however is not limited; feel free to get creative! Fur length is also applied to a Pofure's hair, as it is a measure of how many nanites the Pofure has. Bangs may be made slightly shorter or longer but not much more! Restricted fur is that which is extremely long; for purposes of keeping the image small, this is on the short side of restricted fur. Some may have locks of fur that trail for a little over their body length! |
Ears
Pofures have a variety of ear styles! All of these are hairless; further variation can be obtained through trying out different types and lengths of fur! Restricted ears may take on elemental properties and other forms that may be considered deformities. The Anubis and Flare types can manifest in other shapes of ears! Ear fluff does not have rarity, but should correlate to how many nanites your Pofure has; if your Pofure is particularly dense, it should be less common to see them with the bare ears, as the fluff represents excess nanites! |
Surge Breakers
Surge breakers are hairless, smooth patches of 'skin' and help the Pofure regulate any unwanted spikes in cosmic radiation (thus their name). When Pofures' energy supply runs dangerously low, surge breakers may form on the body to aid in increased absorption of radiation; while most disappear once sufficient energy is obtained, it's been known for some to stay permanently, often asymmetrically. Even Pofures with Restricted breakers must have at least one on their body; rather, many restricted traits are associated with an abundance of nanites, making it logical for them to have more surge breakers to make up for the higher demand of power. The biggest difference between restricted breakers and the rest of the tiers is that some may even float separately from the pofure, often in the shape of a halo. Other shapes are possible however! |
Tails
Pofure tails are typically tufted and medium in length, helping them store any extra nanites they may have. Restricted tails are the most extravagant and non-typical of them all; they exhibit traits that Pofures are almost never seen with, both for biological and pragmatic reasons. All of these tails may have a variety of fur growth, but are equally rare when they are completely bare. *note: True Branch is not the same as multiple tails! All 'branches' must meet up at a central point a good distance away from the Pofure's booty so that it is obvious that it is not a mutation of multi-tails. |
Horns
Pofures sport horns on top of their head, typically right in front of their ears; some resemble shapes familiar to earth, while others are quite exotic! They are often hardened by condensing nanites into a very dense state. Restricted horns are the most intricate and large horns seen on any Pofure. Each type of horn can have variations to their design, as seen in the lower examples. These horns may even have floating components, often made of compacted astroparticles that have crystallized into physical form. Some may even glitter like the stars of the galaxy itself. |
Miscellaneous
Small traits for a finishing touch to your pofure! Eyes Restricted eyes include things such as no pupils and glow; glow can be applied also to any other eye style and retain its restricted rarity (i.e. uncommon 'Jingle' pupil style with glow is a restricted trait). Markings
Pofure markings are just as vibrant as the rest of their culture. There is no limit to what colors a pofure can be! Restricted markings embody the mystery and beauty of the star-littered skies the Pofures so often travel. Most of the pofures in this tier have taken on mildly reflective properties in their pigment nanties, making their markings appear as if they are actually moving. Stars and galaxies on these pofures may twinkle and swirl, and planet-like cloud formations will grow and shrink constantly. Another sub-group of restricted markings is complete iridescence; these pofures are almost always a solid, single color with minimal markings. Their iridescence may be a single color, or all of the colours of the rainbow - much like a prism. |
